Grill & outdoor kitchen cleaning in
Palmetto.
Palmetto sits on the water on three sides, so most grills here deal with salt exposure even though they are not on the Gulf.
Your neighbor in grill care.
Palmetto is wrapped by the Manatee River, Terra Ceia Bay and the approach to Tampa Bay, which means far more salt in the air than its inland neighbors get. Homeowners in Riviera Dunes or out on Snead Island often assume they are safe from corrosion because they are not on the beach. The grills we open up tell a different story.
The housing mix here is unusually wide. We clean decades-old freestanding grills at long-held riverfront homes and brand new built-in kitchens in the newer communities off Buffalo Road, sometimes on the same day. The process does not change, but what we find does.
Boat owners make up a good share of our Palmetto work, and boat dock grills are their own category. Constant spray, no cover, and frequently used for fresh catch. Those need attention more often than a covered patio grill a mile inland.

Frequently asked questions.
I am on the river, not the Gulf. Do I still get salt corrosion? +
Yes. The Manatee River and Terra Ceia Bay are both saltwater, and the air carries it inland further than most people expect. Waterfront Palmetto grills show the same pitting and hardware corrosion we see on the barrier islands, just developing a little more slowly.
How often should a waterfront Palmetto grill be cleaned? +
Three times a year for anything with direct water exposure, particularly dock and seawall grills. Homes set back from the water do fine on a twice yearly schedule. We will give you an honest recommendation for your specific spot after the first visit.
Do you clean older grills, or only newer ones? +
Both. Some of the most satisfying jobs we do in Palmetto are twelve and fifteen year old grills at long-held riverfront homes that have never been professionally cleaned. As long as the burners and firebox are structurally sound, they usually come back remarkably well.
What is the pricing? +
Standalone grills and smokers are $260 to $300, built-in grills and outdoor kitchens are $360 to $380, and pellet grills are $260. Hood and vent cleaning is a $90 add-on. Side burners and backsplash are included in the base price.
Can you reach a grill out on a dock? +
Usually yes. We need reasonable access for equipment and a water source, which most docks and seawall setups have. If access is tight, tell us when you book and we will plan for it rather than discover it on the day.
Do you service Snead Island and Terra Ceia? +
Yes, both are regular stops. If you are out that way, ask about scheduling alongside a neighbor. It is a longer drive for us and easier for everyone if we make the trip count.
